Well done, and happy that you did it from a different angle. As a Canadian journalist, founder of Sikh Press and caregiver for over 20 years, I can say that our people are an ever-changing lot; they are some of the fine success stories, small scale business owner/operators, new docs, dentists and getting ahead. A switch into a higher learning, education, IT solutions stuff, and not interested in the ethnic reports, media! Few interested in social activism, much interested in building their own careers, ethnic food and fashion, girls and boys both, and their parents, aging, regular visitors to gurdwaras and so on. Changing population dynamics and new structures make me wonder how so many ethnic/Punjabi newspapers, radio, TV shows etc., are surviving;they may claim to have a million plus readers/viewers, who want free copies, do not pay nor subscribe…and what’s their future? Bundles of newspapers go waste every week, become garbage, and so a new need of digital media. More details, do call me.
